Early last year i was part of the environment art team at playground games, where initially i worked within the 'Assets and Outsourcing' team. I was responsible for creating benchmark assets and gave feedback to outsource artists.
I was given a task to make an asset which was to be used as grate and balcony grill all across Edinburgh.
The most cost effective way of doing it was to bake the 3d information into a texture, which i ended up doing.
The in-game screenshots also contain art created by other incredibly talented fellow artists. However, I did my best to only capture the areas where its showcasing the asset.
